OUR PEOPLE

Built by People Who Give a Damn.

Every roof we put on is a reflection of the team behind it. Meet the people who show up every day for Central Texas homeowners.

“We did not set out to build the biggest roofing company in Central Texas. We set out to build the best one.”

FSR was founded in 2018 by Adam Glazener with a simple belief. Homeowners deserved a roofing contractor they could actually trust. No shortcuts, no pressure tactics, no disappearing after the job. Just honest work done right.

What started as a one-man operation has grown into a full team of roofing professionals, each one chosen for their character as much as their skill.

I joined FSR in March 2021. I had worked for the Killeen ISD for 25 years and retired in December of 2010. I took on the position in accounts payable when asked by our son to help him out. A couple of hours a day turned into a full time job going on five years. My husband Jay Glazener and I have three sons, three daughters in law, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren with one on the way. We enjoy camping and family dinners together as often as possible. In my spare time I love to piece quilt tops, sew, work in my yard, and take care of my chickens.

Jay is a devoted husband to Dorothy and a proud father of three sons. He has watched his family grow into a legacy that now includes grandchildren and great grandchildren. I was born and raised in Killeen, Texas. With a strong background in agriculture I went on to earn my degree in Agriculture Services and Development from Tarleton State University in 2020. That foundation combined with hands on experience has shaped my work ethic and my approach to everything I do. I joined the FSR team in 2022 as a Project Manager and have enjoyed every step of the journey since. I take pride in being part of a team that values quality, communication, and doing things the right way for our community. Outside of work I spend time with my wife Lauren and our dogs, horses, and goats. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, arrowhead collecting, leatherwork, and podcasting.

I price commercial roofs for FSR and build the behind the scenes web and field tools our sales team runs on. In other words, I do math in a closet all day. Outside of work I am deep in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign and catching live music whenever I can. If it involves good storytelling or making something from scratch I am probably already into it.

Mike
Mike
Roofing Sales

Mike spent 15 years in roofing and joined the FSR family in early 2022. He took care of homeowners in Salado and the surrounding areas the right way, every time, and plenty of those customers came back asking for him by name.

He is missed by everyone here.

Mike was not just an incredible employee, he was an even better human. Mike would often tell me how thankful he was for the opportunity we gave him, but the truth is, I was the lucky one. I am grateful I had the privilege of working with someone with his character, work ethic, and heart. He made FSR better simply by being part of it.

Thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, and for the example you set through the way you treated everyone around you.

Rest easy, brother.

Adam Glazener, Founder and CEO

Mike was such a bright spot in the day to day life here. When I first started in sales, Mike took care of me. There was never any sense that I was new competition. It was support from day one, and we ended up becoming good friends. As much as those long road trips wore on me with the constant bathroom breaks, I would not trade a single one of them. Jokes, life stories, and saving our place in an audiobook until the next drive. He was a big part of what made this company feel like a family.

It has been a little quieter around here since he left, and there is a version of every day that still has Mike’s Good Morning mixed into it.

We will miss you, man.

Timothy, Commercial Estimator

Good people are few and far between. Mike was not just a good person. He was a great person.

I first met Mike when I joined the FSR team four years ago, and from day one, he welcomed me with open arms. Over the years, he mentored myself and so many other new faces who came through the doors. He genuinely wanted everyone around him to succeed. He wanted everyone to win.

Mike never met a stranger. From his humor to his humility, he had a way of talking to anyone and making them feel like they had known each other forever. More than that, he genuinely cared about the people around him.

He was quite possibly the happiest person I have ever met, and his energy and kindness were contagious. We are all truly blessed to have known Mike, and I know I will carry the memories of him with me for the rest of my life.

I will miss hearing, “Have a great day, brother!”

Love ya, Mike. Until we meet again, buddy.
